Meet Joan from Saturday Services!

My name is Joan and I've been a volunteer for Saturday Services for a year and a half. I started volunteering at the clinic because I wanted to learn hands on skills that would help my community and be part of a collective effort. The Clinic is a wonderful opportunity to learn actual skills - interpersonal, counseling, and clinical skills - specifically attuned to the needs of at-risk/ underserved people in the Bay Area. The clinic also has such a radical history and legacy - I want to be a part of building upon that and making the Clinic an even better place.
